As we are about to move into September, I’ve moved the archives to a more prominent place. It was in the footer, and now it’s on the right in the sidebar. It shows each month and the number of posts there were. It’s another way to go back in time. August 2013 will always be the month we remember Robyn starting school!

Welcome to Familyblog Version 1.2 now with slideshows
Two changes to the blog. Both to do with how photos are displayed. We can now have slideshows and galleries.
You can check them out. This is a slideshow (O’Connors on tour), and this one from Máirín is a gallery.
Some of the slideshows are very slow to load, but that’s because the earlier photos were really big iPhone photos. I reduce the size now so they’re quicker to load.

Hi there,
I’m thinking about including posts of things I think people would be interested to know. They are under a Category of temporary, and I’ll delete them after about a month. So they’re not going to be part of the family history. I’ll try it for a while, and people can let me know what they think. I might drop it if it feels like it doesn’t fit.
This is an example: Rocky was 50 just after me, and he put mind over matter, and abseiled down the Irish Life building. Rather him than me!
